malicious women co.

Dream partnerships are made of this. I was over the moon when Lacie, owner of the marvelously snarky Malicious Women Co. contacted me about designing some labels for her new Candle of the Month subscription box. We developed huge work crushes on each other pretty immediately, and have just put the finishing touches on her full-product redesign.

If you love amazing candles, or things that smell good, or supporting women-owned business with amazing heart, or laughing REALLY hard, check them out at maliciouswomenco.com

mickelberry gardens

Longtime Thrive clients Madelyn and Matt from Mickelberry have created a line of hive-inspired goodies and remedies based on the harvest from their organic honeybee apiary. They started out at farmers markets all around the local area, but you can now find them nationwide at Williams-Sonoma and at over 50 retail locations in the Pacific Northwest (including Whole Foods and New Seasons), as well as in their online store.

Check them out at mickelberrygardens.com.

ginger salon

Deanna at Ginger Salon is a longtime client and even longer-time friend. She started the first Ginger location with two chairs in 2008 to show the world that it was possible to create a life-long career path for stylists and still be a successful business. Three locations later, she is the only certified B-Corp salon in THE WORLD, 2020 winner of Willamette Week Best Portland Salon, and has one of the most successful and well-loved names in Portland. She also has finally put her own delicious hair mask on the market. It is, unsurprisingly, fabulous.

better than mama's

Joy at Better Than Mama's Salsa's Dips and Chips has developed such a following of rabid fans that she just opened up her own brick and mortar restaurant, catering and retail location in Salem, Oregon.

Joy's superb line covers all ends of the spectrum, for savory lovers like myself (chipotle bacon cheese dip, anyone?) to those who prefer a little sweet in their treat.  She even throws in a few combos like salted caramel toffee.  I mean you could eat that on ice cream OR a pretzel.  And I like that.
